firescorpz Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 Hi,Recently I have designed a web store using a prestashop.But as I know if I want my website side to be rank at the top few pages,I need to use the SEO method.Previously someone have advised me on SEO, that I have to write some articles and put it in some other website (Blogger, wordpress, friendster, facebook and forum signature etc) But due to his busy schedule I am unable to find him and further learn from him. So I need to learn from you guys here.what I have previously learn from him is the backlink. I don't really understand what does back link means? He told me to get back link I got to do this, please see below exampl.website a = bloggerwebsite b = wordpresswebsite c = friendsterwebsite d = facebookwebsite e = my website, maybe selling fish(above is just example only)then the link by keyword got to be"a" link to b,c,d,e"b" link to c,d,e"c" link to d,e"d" link to eDoes that means for website "a" i got to have 4 different keywords?like dogs link to Website "b"cats link to website "c"monkey link to website "d"fish link to website "e" (my main web store)and for website "b"cats link to website "c"monkey link to website "d"fish link to website "e"and so on. So is this correct? ( I am not sure can I show the website here? If that is possible i will put it in the next post)Another question I want to ask is about the article which I want to put onlineI understand in SEO, chance of rank higher is the article that I am going to create must have unique content. In this case, if I found some relevance article online but I modify about 30% of the article is it consider unique?I want to be a successful web seller andneed some advise from you guys, thank you. Hi,Thank you for coming in here to offer help.However, I am too embarrass to show my website yet because it is no properly doneOr shall we go step by step first?I do have a question that I need advise. As in prestashop, how to do i go to the source codearea to make changes? Example, I read at other SEO forums, I am told make sure the title tag is properly doneso I need to go into the HTML code area in SEO. Where can I find this?
