Convert Installation To Multistore And Move Customers To New Store

Hi,

 

I have an existing installation of prestashop 1.6.1.3. I would like to convert it to multistore and have all the user accounts move to the new store as follows:

 

current config: shop 1 = www.mystore.com (category A, category B, all customer accounts.

 

new config: shop 1= www.mystore.com (keep category A only) no customer accounts

                   shop 2 = www.mystore.com/shop (Category B only) all customer accounts moved to new store

 

 

Is this possible. I cannot see a way to do it. All I can see an option for is to

A: share customers accross both stores or

B: keep the existing customers on shop one and create brand new database for shop 2

 

The problem is, I need the opposite of option B above. 

 

Any ideas?
