alansheep Posted December 10, 2015 Share Posted December 10, 2015 I am transferring from another eCommerce platform to Presta Shop and I have some orders that are exported from the previous platform and is looking for a way import to Presta shop, for the sake of keeping statistics and customers' purchase history. I have been to the CSV import but doesn't seem to help. Is there a module or anything I should be looking at? Before I crack into the database? Thanks!! I previously was using Magento. Understood their database are in totally different schema for products and orders. I was ready to prepare some sort of CSV to import but it doesn't look to have an option. Should I aim for direct database insertion? Or I could manually insert all those orders and manipulate the date in the database? I only have a couple hundreds of order so it isn't completely un-doable. Thank you in advance. musicmaster Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 With a few hundred orders I would lay the scheme's next to each other and write a little script to transfer them. I wouldn't use a csv. Instead I would make a copy of both databases on my pc so that I can transfer them directly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
