Remove image from sub category header

Hi.

 

i need help with removing image from sub category header. i have read a lot of topics to delete some code but none work for me.. when i delete those codes the page dont open at all.

 

i have the prestashop 1.6.0.9 with blackhank 3 theme.

I know this is a pretty old topic but I spent a few hours trying to get this to work the way I wanted it to (to get rid of the categories image only on small devices like smart phones).

 

I cannot figure out why prestashop considers the current setup as logical, it's not as all your descriptions will cover the photo while in portrait mode on smart phones, ugly and ridiculous!

 

You can use this without the @media setting (or set for different size screens).

 

category.css: @media only screen and (max-width: 480px){ .content_scene_cat_bg {background:none!important;} }

 

And then use set .content_scene_cat p to something like 350px to allow for the image to be seen on a smart phone in landscape mode without covering the image and text with no image in portrait mode.
