Add the time order was placed into order confirmation email

Hi!

 

Is it possible to amend the code somehow so that the time an order was placed is added to the order confirmation email? My client has certain order cut-off points and this is to avoid dispute where emails are coming in delayed for some reason.

 

Actually, I have noticed that for the Order Confirmation email which the customer received, there is a time stamp with the date after Order Number Placed On .....

 

However, the New Order email received by the shop only shows the date, not the time, even though both use {date} in the code?? Why does it render differently?
