Permission in home text editor

I recently installed Prestashop 1.0. I followed all the precedures and set all the permissions as stated in the Wiki. The installation went fairly easy because the directions where written very well. The problem I am having is with the module for changing my header in the home text editor. It returns a message saying that it could not update and to check for permissions. Iam able to update my catalog so I feel i am missing something fairly simple. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Rich

I know you say you followed the instructions properly, but could it be possible you missed this

Then make sure the following folders have ‘write’ permissions and apply these permissions recursively (to their subfolders): /img, /mails, /modules, /themes/prestashop/lang, /translations

The editor resides in the modules folder , make sure the permissions are set correct there (editorial - I think)

Set modules/editorial/editorial.xml file premissions to 666.

Thanks for the help. I set the editorial.xml permissions to 666. Life is good.
