Remove Nav Bar from Prestashop 1.6

Please can someone tell me how to completely remove the top nav bar from Prestashop 1.6 (the one with "Call us now:", Contact us and Sign in)?

Hello

 

I suppose the simplest way is just to "Unhook" the modules in it:

 

So go to:

 

Back office > Modules > Positions > displayNav > (and unhook the modules)

Will unhooking these modules actually remove the nav bar altogether?

I want my page content to all move up (if you see what I mean).

in displaynav you have "user info block" and "contact block". you can unhook from positions. however, you might want to put back in future and might forget you have done this. simply go to modules and disable "user info block" & "contact block" . or even better, what i have done, is disable on mobiles

everything depends on what you want to remove from it, maybe whole navbar?
