Christiaan_01
Hi all, First of all, I do have experience in setting up Prestashop Multistore on regular hosting accounts with Cpanel. Now I've hosted my PS website on Cloudways hosting. Unfortunately there's nothing there to park a domain, which is the regular procedure for PS Multistore. There's a field called 'additional domains' in Cloudways. I entered domainB.com there, and added a Cname record in the DNS pointing to the Cloudways app, but nothing happens (even after waiting a few hours). Does anyone know how to set up Prestashop Multistore on Cloudways? Thanks for any input, Christiaan Edited August 30, 2015 by Christiaan_01 (see edit history)
Christiaan_01
Problem solved. For those interested in how to use Prestashop Multistore in Cloudways, here's what to do: - Set up Prestashop Multistore in the regular way (add DomainB.com as the URL, the usual procedure for multistore) - Go to your Cloudways ClicknGo -> Application Management -> Domain Management -> Add domainB.com to Additional Domains. - Go to your domain hoster and edit the DNS settings of DomainB.com: Add 1 record: Name: www.domainB.com Type: CName Value: prestashop-cloudwaysnumber-cloudwaysapps.com TTL: 5 mins You might have to wait 24 - 48 hours for the DNS propagation to take place.
