Delete content on order confirmation mail

Hi everyone,

 

I have read couple of posts dealing with how to add content on the order confirmation email the client is receiving but nothing on how to remove content.

 

Basically the following lines are of no use for me and I want to keep the client order confirmation email as clean/simple as possible:

 

- Gift wrap cost line

- Delivery cost line

- Tax total cost line

- Delivery block

- Delivery address block

- Invoice adress block

 

I would like to hide them all from the emails received, without having to delete them from the source files though (just in case). 

 

I assume this has to do with paymentmodule.php file but would appreciate if someone could confirm and explain exactly what to do there.

You can edit all emails in Localisation -> Translations.

 

Select Type of Translation - Email Template Translations, select your theme and language.

 

Then go to Core Emails and find the order_conf email.

 

Select Edit HTML version and you can work away in there (might be easiest to use Source View and comment out the relevant lines in case you want them back in future rather than deleting them straight up - whatever works best for you)
