No data coming in Categories block after prestashop 1.1.0.5 to another server

okay!
let me clear the problem in detail,
I have running prestashop site with different domain name on different server,I want to move the whole site to new domain name and server.
I installed prestashop 1.1.0.5 at the new server and restored the old DB too.Everything works fine except categories not coming in front office.
Can anybody help me now!

Are there any javascript error on the page?

You can check usin the error console in FireFox.

I tried to debug it by echo the query of categories..no data is getting selected based on the existing query..
any ideas?

If the data is in the database correctly, than it could be related to groups, if the groups were not imported correctly, no products or categories will be displayed

I just checked the DB,the attribute_group_lang table in original db dump contains these two values (2, 1, 'Color', 'Color'); (2, 3, 'Kolor', 'Kolor');
But in the backoffice I can see only first value- (2, 1, 'Color', 'Color') in Attributes and groups.
How can I cross check with DB dump and current DB if all group data is present in DB?

You can load the data dump to a new database, and compare them using phpmyadmin.

The categories have nothing to do with the attributes table though.
