Add to Cart Popup Box

Recommended Posts

Using latest version of Prestashop, but are new to Prestahop so need some guidance in resolving an issue we have please.

When clicking ADD TO CART on any product, a popup box appears which shows the following to the user:-

There are 2 items in your cart. Total products (tax incl.) £ 6.98
Total shipping (tax excl.) £ 4.99
Total (tax incl.) £ 11.97
Q1. How do we change the word tax to show VAT instead. Tried using translations but any reference to TAX we have changed to VAT but still not changed on this popup. Can someone point us in the right direction to change this wording please?
Q2. In the above scenario it is showing Shipping as tax exclusive, but this price is VAT Inclusive. Where does it determine that the shipping is tax exclusive so we can change this rule? We have tried the shipping rules to be VATable but this does not seem to have helped. Also we need to change tax text to say VAT for the shipping and total also.
Your help is much appreciated.

For Q1 you need to use translation for module blockcart. Go to BO > Localization > Translations, Type of translation: Installed modules translation, Language: English. Search for Module blockcart and expand the expressions to look after (tax incl.).

Not sure about Q2. In my default instalation of PS 1.6.0.14 it shows shipping with tax incl. Check BO > Shipping > Carriers at your carrier settings, maybe you find something you could change there.
