how to display reference code as products id in product category page?

in product category page i can see Reference:#8950 for my product.

but i want to show it as Product ID:#8950

how to achieve this?

you can translate "reference" to "product ID" 

i bet that you use non-default theme because default one doesnt have reference there

 

you can do it under localization > translations 

1) from first dropdown select "front office translations"

2) from second dropdown select your theme
3) select language that you want to change / translate

4) click on modify

5) search for "product-list"

6) expand this list of available texts

7) search for "Reference"
8) translate it to "Product ID"
