How to create pages without shop content

Hello to the forum,

 

i am new to prestashop and have to admin an installed shop Version 1.5.4.1.

 

So there a few question before i can start with it, and i hope i will find help here, even i have some simple questions.

 

I started with the tutorial, but do not find the answers i will know. :-)

 

First, is it usefull to upgrade to the last version, because i have to respect german online law, and by now there are some adjustments in the shopping cart and they will be gone after the update.

 

Is the last version ready for german law or are the some modules to get this done?

 

the next questio  which i cannot answered in the manual is, how to create a single page where i can fill up informations like text or images for some informations?

Without knowing what the modifications for German Law you have done I don't know if I can answer that part!

 

Single pages of information, text etc can be created using the CMS (Under Preferences) facility.

Yes i know the modifications will be helpful to know, but the developer who did is not available anymore and so i have to find out about the compatibility to the german online law.

 

There some sites i found about the PrestaShop EU-Legal Modul, do you know something about.

 

Are there a manual for the upgrade to 1.6?
