Walrus
Not noticed this before, having upgraded to latest Prestashop, I enabled PayPal module (PayPal v3.8.0), selected Website Payments Standard got my API credentials, plugged them in and saved. It says I can now use PayPal but the API username changes to my admin email. Is this normal? Thanks.
bellini13
do you have any type of password manager that is autofilling the input field?
Walrus
Hi -- Only the default Safari password manager. It asks me if I want to save password, I say no. I just deleted PP v3.8.0, downloaded v3.9.0 from the Prestashop site, installed it, same thing happened again. I then tried uninstalling, and installing via Firefox and success! The API username did NOT change this time. Strange..When I view the module back in Safari, it's now changed the API username to an email address I use for testing as customer. Seems to be getting the address from either my admin or my customer accounts. No more errors when I try to purchase using PayPal. Thanks for the pointer.
