cPanel MySQL upgrading , caused downing prestashop 1.5x websites

ERROR:

Fatal error: Uncaught Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2054] The server requested authentication method unknown to the client thrown in /home/???/public_html/???/classes/db/DbPDO.php on line 58

 

REASON:

16-byte MySQL password upgraded to 41-byte password coding.

 

SOLUTION:

in cpanel -> mysql database -> change database password ->

retype current prestashop database password.

(without need to change database-password on configuration file: settings.inc.php)
