Remove THEME NAME from title

Hello. I have a problem that should be VERY SIMPLE to remedy.

In my prestashop store, the THEME NAME shows up on the browser tab, and I want to remove this or change this.

I have googled this and searched for days, but could not find anything about it. I only found how to change the name of the store, or remove the name of the store, but not the theme name.

Again... I'm just wanting to either remove or change the THEME NAME that is showing up in the browser tab.

Can anybody help me with this?

From title, bit strange, can you post link to store ?

But check first in theme folder header.tpl if maybe theme name is hard-coded in title tag.

if your website contains theme name in the <title> it is probably a case of header.tpl file

Well, the domain is: http://RememberCubaCigars.com

When you go there, you'll see that the name of the THEME, which is "Trail Mix", is showing in the tab.

I checked the header.tpl for the theme, but could find no mention of the words "Trail Mix".

Maybe it is used like some variable, check at beginning what is in title tag

<title>{$meta_title|escape:'html':'UTF-8'}</title>

This is from default theme.

YES! That is right near the top, on line 9. Should I simply delete this code, or should I edit it in some way to the name of the shop or something?

If you have exact same line that you should not delete that.

I thought that line have something extra like {$theme_name} before meta_title.

Next thing to check is maybe in back office, SEO&URLs and check if page titles

there contain theme name.

you see theme name only if some browsers? or for example only in google search results?

The "Trail Mix" words, which is the name of the theme, shows up in the TABS of all browsers.. firefox, chrome, etc.

I do NOT want the theme name showing up in the tab.

And seams that it only shows on homepage so check index at Back office > Preferences > SEO&URLs.
