Gardensofthesun
Hi there, I recently started using Prestashop Cloud 1.6.0.14 to build my online shop and I'm a total newbie with this without technical background. I'm finding the options to work on my CMS pages to limited and cannot find the right modules in the Prestashop marketplace to make the pages I want. I downloaded a third party module but that won't install in Cloud. Is it possible to edit CMS pages in the Prestashop Download and then move them to Prestashop Cloud?? Thanks! Tung at RockPOS.com
Hello there, You totally can add CMS pages with your default installation on Cloud. Refer to the screenshot below. Anyway, to answer your question: Is it possible to edit CMS pages in the Prestashop Download and then move them to Prestashop Cloud? It's impossible, so you know! As you don't have access to MySQL server. Hope that helps! Tung
Gardensofthesun
Thank you Tung! I know I can add and edit CMS pages on Cloud. I am just frustrated by the limited options there are to customise the pages. Transferring my current shop in process to Download also doesn't seem to be possible, so I guess I will have to make do. Do you know of any good modules to edit the CMS pages that work on Cloud?
selectshop.at
If you want to transfer your Cloud to self hosted, please contact the Prestashop support. It is possible, for a fee (about 400 euros from what I heard). Or if you are still mounting your shop, it is better to stop feeding data on Cloud and contract a self hosting package somewhere. Products you can download and upload by csv to your new server. Install and configuration should be not a problem for you to make it again. You can access both for comparision.
