Making the background image span the whole page

Hi,

 

I am trying to add a background image to my shop, but the only way that I can seem to get it to work is if I add the image separately for the header, container, and footer. When I do that, it makes the background image look choppy and jagged. I was wondering if there was a way to make the image span the whole page without having to add it to each individual section (I tried to add a body tag with the background image but it wouldn't load correctly).

Are you using the default template? Anyway could you share your site's url?

I am using a copy of the default theme. The URL is https://demo1.spottrot.com/Lockn/. I want the image to span the entire thing, but as it is the image just spans each area that it is in...

I was able to sort of fix the problem by using the background-size property, but it will only work if the image is fixed. If I leave that off or change that property, it loads the image in each section still.

Of course, your image HAS to be wide in order to span all the page's width. Otherwise, indeed, you need to use background-size. You should really use a wider image
