I think you will see php error of some sort that is causing your page load script to exit. https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/224525-how-to-turn-on-error-reporting-for-debug-information-blank-page-500-internal-server-error/ Once you have this information try different searches as they may already be a solution.
