johnthunder Posted May 18, 2015 Share Posted May 18, 2015 The issues could include: 1. traffic quality - if the site is not optimized for target terms then the traffic quality will be poor and abandonment rate high. A starting point would be to study the keyword data your traffic analysis program. 2. Ux - could be a trust and confidence issue. If the traffic quality is ok and we can establish that the people who start the funnel are well qualified yet still they abandon then we'd need to look at touchpoints and messaging. Did this occur recently and suddently or has it been gradual? I would look to see if the issue coincides with a search engine algorithm change. Is it 100% abandonment?
