dnugent
I need to change the date format for the user info and user registration screens to be MM-DD-YYYY - currently it is listed as DD-MM-YYYY. I do know PHP and I know that MySQL likes the original Prestahop format, but I want to alter it for the US - I can write the code to alter it back for the database - I just need to know what file it is in. Thank you
NemoPS
Are you using a different default dateformat in your store? (dd-mm-yyyy) If you don't mind about that, you can simply change it I guess, otherwise it's complicated to get it different. You might need to add another parameter to the dateFormat smarty function, then Tools::dateFormat as well, catch it when it displays the birthday and use the US one. dnugent
Good Morning Nemo1: To answer your question, yes I have altered the date format already, but the birthday format remain dd//mm/yyyy. Here in the US we use mm/dd/yyyy. thank you - I will look into that file
NemoPS
Odd, is english the only language you have installed?
dnugent
No - there are German, Russian, Spanish and French ... is that the issue? I don't need the other languages, can I just disable them and go from there?
NemoPS
Try erasing them completely, you can always take them back later on if needed
dnugent
Thank you Nemo1 I will give that a shot - I disabled them, but that did not change anything. I will have to get a book on Smarty, but with my knowledge of PHP that should not be an issue. I can pretty much read the Smarty Code, just need to make sure I know what I am doing before I go on to edit the TPL files...don't want to break it LOL
