mail is not send when i click on send an email test.

iam now using smtp settings as follows

 

Mail domain name      = my site url

SMTP server               = smtp-relay.mailin.fr

SMTP username         = prestashop administrator email.

SMTP password          = empty

Encryption                   = none

port                              = 587

 

Now when i click on send an email test button it shows this error message:-

 

Error: Please check your configuration
Authentication failed using username '[email protected]' and password '*********'

ok now i entered the sendinblue's smtp settings in the advanced parameters->email.

no error is shown but when i check the mail no message i received.

also since when i click yes in the Activate SendinBlue SMTP for your transactional emails

it shows this error message  Your SMTP account is not activated and therefore you can't use SendinBlue SMTP. For more informations, Please contact our support to: [email protected]

 

now how shall i activate my sendinblue account and sync it with the prestashop

I'm having a simillar problem also. I'm getting lots of customer queries about the lack of order confirmations etc. It seems the problem is with Hotmail and Gmail specifically.

Is there anything we can do to stop Hotmail and Gmail interpreting PrestaShop emails as spam?
