HELP Can't access store from my computer but I can log in from phone and other computers

Hello there,

 

I can't access the store from this particular computer I'm at.  I even tried opening the notepad, running it as administrator and added to the hosts section (after i went through system-drivers-etc)

 

(EX)  11.11.111.111 www.example.com 

 

I saved it and its still not working.....this particular computer I'm on, has all the files we need for our

website....I've been trying to figure this out for 2 days.  Can anyone possibly help me with this?

 

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

did you clear cache in your browser and/or try other browser?

You don't need to add the site to your hosts file and doing so won't help but a messed up hosts file was the first thing I thought of even before reading that you had tried to edit yours. Remove the entry from the hosts file and let your computer resolve the site. 

 

If that doesn't work then change your nameservers to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as it could be something weird with the nameserver your ISP uses.
