products price with and without tax value - p1.5 [Solved]

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I've been following some tutorials to show both prices (with and without taxes) on the product description page only.

I've made this change in product.tpl
<span class="our_price_display">
{if $priceDisplay >= 0 && $priceDisplay <= 2}
<span id="our_price_display" class="pricecolor">{convertPrice price=$productPrice}</span>
<!-- {if $tax_enabled  && ((isset($display_tax_label) && $display_tax_label == 1) OR !isset($display_tax_label))}
{if $priceDisplay == 1}{l s='tax excl.'}{else}{l s='tax incl.'}{/if}
{/if} -->
{/if}

<span id="pretaxe_price_display">({convertPrice price=$product->getPrice(false, $smarty.const.NULL, 2)} {l s='tax excl.'})</span>
</span>

<br />
In a test environment it seems functional (with a tweak in css to align both prices - as below image).

Since I'm not a code expert and before I make the change in the online store, I would appreciate any feedback if the code is somehow incoreect or if there is a better way to achive what I need.

Thanks,

Ed
