aligilani8
Hello Presta People,I am just a beginner here. I am exploring this Presta platform since few days but I couldn't find a way to modify the top left corner categories. (I have attached picture) Do anybody where is the option in Admin Panel to go and work on this part? I want to change WOMEN - DRESSES - T SHIRTS with my own Labels or Categories like CLOTHES - JEWELRY - SHOES - ACCESSORIES etc. I would really appreciate your time to reply me. Regards!! aligilani8
Modules -> Top Horizontal Menu Have a look at my 101 here http://nemops.com/prestashop-101-series/ I uploaded another theme replacing default-bootstrap theme. But now I have problem with TOP MENU again. The Top Menu is now missing in newly uploaded theme. I am attaching photos of both the demo and mine site. You can see the difference in these two. I need to get that top menu back on my site. Can you guide me where to configure this option? Please DEMO: MINE:
NemoPS
Check if the theme comes with specific modules, and install/configure those as well, if so
aligilani8
Check if the theme comes with specific modules, and install/configure those as well, if so I enabled all modules which were in theme itself and also disabled some unnecessary modules of old theme. But still the same condition as mentioned above. I also tried to configure modules Top horizontal menu and Top Mega menu but didin't worked. There are menus enabled in settings of these modules but the result is not showing on web page.
NemoPS
Does the theme come with a readme? Or, you can try getting in touch with the developer
aligilani8
It comes with readme. It was clearly stated everything and I followed as well. But there are some problems. I think this is due to the reason theme is designed for Prestashop version 1.5 and I installed it on Prestashop 1.6 version. This would be the reason? What do you say Nemo? Can I install Prestashop 1.5 on my site? Will it work fine ?
NemoPS
Oh, in that case it's highly possible. You can install 1.5 of course, I use it myself
aligilani8
Dear Nemo, Thank you for your kind reply. I tried to install Presta 1.5 version but same problem I faced on 3 different computers. Here is the URL: http://techzone.com.pk/presta/prestashop/install/ If you open you will see the page doesn't load completely. Would you suggest any solution please? My hosting provide one click setup for Prestashop but it has only two versions 1.6 (which I was using earlier) and 1.4 (1.4 will be lower version and my theme require 1.5). I am waiting for your kind reply please.

aligilani8
Hm I get a 404 on the link. Same server? At this point it's the hosting's fault Dear Nemo, I am sorry for broken link and again sorry for late reply. I again installed latest version of Prestashop on that domain to try any other workaround. But still my preference is to go with 1.5 version so I uploaded this package on one another domain its link is http://afmahprinting.com/testing/prestashop If you will open this you will notice that installation / setup page is not getting open properly. So it cause installation error on last step. This time I'll reply to you promptly. I appreciate your kind support to me. Best Regards!

aligilani8
Oh, I don't keep original packages, I generally grab them from the site every time. Did you try a 1.6 version too? Yes I tried the 1.6 version and that has no problem in installation. But 1.6 version is not suitable for my theme this is the problem you know. This is really strange with 1.5 version installation.
