fansubber Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 (edited) Hi, i have an online shop with prestashop 1.6.0.9 with uhu bootstrap theme on a VPS cloud1 from OVH (2 core, 2GB RAM) i noticed that the loading speed of my page was slow with : GTmetrix Pingdom Webpagetest the webpage starts loading content 1.2-2seconds after processing i disabled has many unecessaries modules as possible. i tried to contact the developers from uhu but my messages left unanswered. sorry in advance if my topic contains many grammatical mistakes i'm french and i posted a similar topic on the french forum without much success that's why i try my luck in here too. thanks in advance for spending time reading about my issue. regards. JPresta.com Posted March 11, 2015 Share Posted March 11, 2015 Hi, Your site seems to run fine, I mean it's quite good for a normal Prestashop: you don't have slow module, you removed unecessary ones, your theme have a good rank on GTMetrix... With the same server 1month ago on prestashop 1.4.9 it was around 400ms. I have zend opcache since the beginning, i may consider buying your module but should i upgrade my VPS OVH to cloud 2 (4core, 4GB RAM) or it's not necessary ? I would suggest to try PageCache (satisfied or refunded) because browser's cache is always faster than any powerful server and because I guess it will be less expensive in short term than upgrading your hosting.
