Jennifer@optimal
I can't get the UPS module to work. "Free shipping" shows in checkout, no live rates and no shipping estimate shows. I have deleted all shipping carriers in the shipping section and deleted the UPS module and re-installed. I also deleted and re-installed the ship estimate block. All the shipping options for UPS now correctly show in the shipping carrier section. At this point, I have allowed only UPS Ground shipping with no Free Ship in the carriers section. Also, in the shipping section free ship$ is set at 0 and free ship wt is set at 0. I have disabled all countries except America, and have made sure all states are showing the correct zone. All the products have correct weights, There is no Advanced Stock Management set up No warehouse Out of stock ordering enabled I have not set up ranges in shipping-carriers-edit, because I was told that the UPS module would set pricing. If there is something else someone can think of to check let me know. www.optimal-supply.com
tomerg3
Are you logged in when you are getting the free shipping? PrestaShop is a little buggy when it comes to that, as they decided to display Free Shipping unless a customer is logged in (Yes, this is bizarre and misleading). You can rename the text "Free Shipping" to "Calculated at checkout" or something like it. If you still have issues with the UPS module, you may want to consider purchasing our module https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/74017-module-ups-get-real-time-rates-from-ups-label-printing-shipping-preview-on-the-product-page/ It has a built in shipping preview that does not require the customer to login, and will display the correct rates if they enter an address. It also allows you to print labels and automatically email tracking numbers o the customer.
ramseymountain
Hi Jennifer, I am a newbie as well and trying to figure out the UPS module. After searching this forum, I'm not sure if there is anyone that has success with the module, or a development team member willing to offer better set up instruction. All threads about the subject are seeming left without a solution. So, that's the big question. Is there anyone that has this module functioning correctly? ramseymountain
I now have SUCCESS! Thanks to an online chat with prestashop. To date, I have mock shipped 2 items of different weight/size to two different regions and compared the ship cost to my-ups>calculate time and cost. Here are the steps provided to me for the config: NOTE: the correct ups web page for United States is: https://www.ups.com/upsdeveloperkit To request a UPS Developer's Kit Access Key, please follow these steps: Browse to Error 404--Not Found Click on the "Register" link inside the "How to Get Started" section. In the "Submit Your UPS Registration Information" box, enter your name, e-mail address, User ID and password then click on the [Next] button. Complete the "UPS Registration" window then click on the [Next] button. On the "Thank You!" screen, click on the [Next] button. Click on the "Request an access key" link in the "How to Get Started" section. If needed create a UPS Billing Account (it's free) Complete the "Secondary Contact Information" and the click on [Request Access Key]. Please note: If you have already registered for My UPS.com, go to step 5 after you have logged in with your user ID and password. However, for security, I recommend you create a new user ID and password for use with UPS Developer APIs. Please contact us if you need any additional assistance. Jennifer@optimal
Tomerg3, it appears that login is necessary to see rates. I will take a closer look at your mod as soon as I have worked out other bugs. Thanks much!!
