How to fix this on my homepage

Can anyone tell me how to fix the top of my homepage where there is a bright breen bar?  I have not been able to get rid of this.

This was added by you i guess. it's probably in header.tpl, look for:

<h1>This is heading 1</h1>

<p>This is a paragraph.</p>

and delete it

I understand that but the next issue is I went all over filezilla to find the header.tpl and not able to locate it.. 

Do you know what I am doing wrong and also how to remove that bright green.. it also highlights all my products when I click on them..

Thank you.. I found the themes but not finding the your_themes anywhere.. Any suggestions?

tuk66 meant theme you are using by your_themes. So if you are using default theme path should be /themes/default-bootstrap/header.tpl

Thank you.. I went to the translation in the localization but does not have a modify button or tab and scrolling down does not show a shopping cart to edit the translation.. I know I'm missing something..  I went all over in other parts and did not find that to change. any suggestions? 1.5.41 is the version I'm using if that helps.
