Possible to auto generate RSS feed for my shop?

Recommended Posts

I've read from here and there but I am still stuck on how to generate the RSS feed URL for the feed block. Is there a way to auto generate the feed similar to the one that WordPress can do?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Sorry, if entering a URL into the configuration of the feed block isn't working for you, I can't help any more. I've heard that it doesn't work for some people, possibly because of server issues. I've never had any problem getting it to work on my own site, as you can see.

No, there isn't, but you can click the RSS feed button on your browser on your website, then copy the URL into the feed block's configuration page.

i do it as you said but the system shows the information as below

You cannot select your own RSS feed

That is normal. The latest version of Prestashop doesn't let you select your own RSS feed. You can only use a third-party RSS feed.

thank you for your reply, i don't why prestashop team do that. do you know how to let it select my own website RSS?

See the bug report here. It was done to prevent the website from looping and overloading the server.

Rocky,

Can you shed some light to my problem here ...

http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/93362/configuring___using_prestashop/rss_feed_only_show_10_products/
