deepee
Hi All There have been a number of threads relating to various scenarios where "Free Shipping" has been displayed incorrectly but none of them seem to be relevant to an issue I have noticed. In all 1.6 versions I have tried, when I click on the "X" to remove all products from the cart and my mouse is still hovering over the cart block, for a brief moment "Free Shipping!" is displayed. This may not seem like a big deal but I have noticed a number customers registering and not completing a purchase. I suspect they have removed a product from the cart, seen the free shipping notification and have given up when they added another product and find they are charged normal delivery at checkout. Anyone else experienced this and any thoughts how to fix it? Thanks deepee
deepee
Just checked the Prestashop Demo site and it displays exactly the same behaviour. http://demo.prestashop.com/en/?view=front Surely this is undesirable and needs to be corrected? jetx
I got rid of that by using grep to search for all instances of shipping! On my site that particular culprit was in the opc module (one page check0ut), order-opc.tpl. But you may check also var freeShippingTranslation = '{l s='Free shipping!' mod='blockcart' js=1}'; on ln 38 of blockcart.tpl. I changed every instance of Free Shipping to calculated at checkout, as I do not offer free shipping using the built in shipping module.
