Hello everyone!

In my opinion the safest way to minor upgrade from previous version is to make database dumb and merge it to fresh installed new Prestashop.

As follows the question:

Is there any differense in database structure between 1.6.0.9 and 1.6.0.11 for:

 - Products

 - Categories

 - Carriers

 - Prestashop settings

and other tables?

Did anyone had experiense successful upgrading by merging database or Autoupgrade module?

Hello tuk66,

Don't know if you are still planning your upgrade but here is my experience.

I have just Upgraded my local version of Prestashop from 1.6.0.9 to 1.6.0.11.

I used Auto Upgrade. It worked very well.

The only problem was a bug in the new code which stopped the price slider working because JqueryUI was not getting loaded up.

I found the fix on the Prestashop 1.6 Dev branch in Github.

Here is my post about it, the link to the fix is in the post.

Regards,

Mark.

Hi guys... I´m solving simmilar problem. I want to clean the shop, kind of re-install it, get rid of the ballast I´ve created... And want to keep as many info from the previous version. What steps you recommend? I wanted to migrate some of dtb tables and it failed. Could you please recommend me the steps to take? What database tables to import to new, clean version? Thanks!

I tried twice to upgrade from 1.6.0.9 to 1.6.0.11. After the upgrade was finished, my both front page and the admin back office page went completely blanc, without being able to login as a admintrator to go back to 1.6.0.9. So I had to do restore-request to my hosting company to restore the latest  backup (24hrs) back. It cost me usd15,-, but I was happy that the shop was back online.

For now I have to wait - probably to a new version.

No idea what causes the blanc screen.
