paul02 Posted January 8, 2015 Share Posted January 8, 2015 (edited) Hello, i'm a newbie in prestashop and i would really be grateful for any help, i tried a lot of things, spent DAYS reading forums and nothing works. So here is the problem, when i click the add to cart button , i am redirected to the cart page but the cart page is empty, meaning it appears but there is no writing, nothing. My solution is to disable ajax on the cart and it worked for a while to redirect me directly to order-opc page but it suddently started redirecting me to cart page wich is empty. So i have 2 options : -try to redirect the cart to the order-opc like before but i am not sure that the product will be actually added to cart. or -try to fix the "cart" page so it shows the content of the cart instead of nothing (when i say nothing, i mean that the page show with header, footer and background but there is just nothing in the middle) So if ANYBODY can guide me in the right direction i would be so happy cause i'm really getting at the end of my rope here. paul02 Posted January 12, 2015 Author Share Posted January 12, 2015 update on my problem: the cart works with ajax : - when i use chrome private navigation - When i use internet explorer -when i use chrome on a different pc with a different internet connexion (exterior wireless) BUT what does that mean ? maybe that one of my chrome extension is the problem but it stopped working after 2 days on the other computer using chrome whitout any of my extension so i think that rules out the extension as possible source of the problem. Does anybody have any idea what problem all those "clues" cited above point to ? I'd appreciate any help cause that is as far as my skills go , i really don't think i am gonna figure it out on my own so please help me prestashop experts. paul02 Posted January 12, 2015 Author Share Posted January 12, 2015 New update: the problem was the cookie, it works after deleting them BUT won't that be a problem for my customer after their first visit and their second visit , the cart won't work anymore so the problem remain, i NEED to find a solution and the source of the problem or it will happen to my customer to and they wont know to erase their cookies !
