Position number

Please i can show a position number in the category on product list. In the product-list.tpl how i can show this number?

- where does the 'position' number come from? Just the product position in the product-list (on that page)? Or some custom number?

-  what about product-lists with has more 'pages'? Should the numbering re-start at 1 for each page, or continue numbering ?

(i.e. page 1, product position 1-20, page 2 position 21-40 etc)

- When filters are applied, should the 'position' keep the original position number (i.e.the original position number before filtering), or should it be renumbered to 1,2,3... again?

- where do you want the number to be displayed? (please a dd some image or so)

- What's your PrestaShop version? Default theme?

I look for the same thing. I want to display the product position number inside the category (the same displayed in the back-office). I only have one page for each product list inside all categories.
