403 Error

Recommended Posts

Hello, first you should activate the debug mode in prestashop and check for any errors. If you can, check the apache error log and let us know what you find.

A 403 error is forbiden, but if this only happens when you insert html content, i think is not a permisions issue.

Let us know what you find in the logs and we will try to help you further

Hello,

Thank you alvarez, I'm on a shared hosting and the server is using litespeed not apache.

Turning the debug mode on doesn't bring any erros rather than that 403 error I always get.

Could it be the litespeed thing?!

Hello Pamjadi, i really have no idea, first time i heard about litespeed, anyway, it should have a error log anywhere, just check with your hosting provider for help, and let us know about your findings

Hi Alberto,

I finally managed to fix this with turning Mod_Security off from Backoffice. :)

Regards,
