Holdpartner Posted December 27, 2014 Share Posted December 27, 2014 Hi, I'm trying to sell virtual products that can value from $1-5, but with the paypal processing system I will be getting very little money from my combined sales. Is there a way to completely remove or at least receive payments from paypal in a different manner? It's really destroying my profits. When I used opencart I don't remember there being a fee, and if there was it was hardly noticable. But for a $1 payment I just received $0.50. It's outrageous! Dh42 Posted December 27, 2014 Share Posted December 27, 2014 Get a merchant account with someone other than paypal. Their fees are the same no matter what platform you use. If your sales are high enough, they will lower your transaction rate as well. Also, you might look into seeing if you can qualify for for paypal micro payments as well.
