csamu
Hello everyone. I have some questions and I will try to be brief. I have a product on which I want to enable "optional packaging" as radio buttons. I thought I could use attributes ... Im going to present my issues as images: This is what the Front Office looks like, and what I want: This is what I thought the structure would look like: This is what I wanted; clean and simple: This was the real, uncomfortable, result. After all, PS can only handle attributes with permutations: This was the real problem and deal breaker: So. What I really am looking for is a way to decouple/separate an attribute from the permutations (combinations) and use it as an independent option. I have (already) noticed Presto-Changeo Attribute Wizard / Single Stock Attributes, but i thought this feature would be included in the main package. Its just 2 simple radio buttons. I also don't think you can place Attribute Wizards radio buttons in the product info box (under the colors). It really seems a little hacky to get all of this working. I have read that other people have had this problem too and ended up actually moving to another platform. Im not sure, is this a deal breaker? Comments? After all, this platform is free and open source Thank you PrestaShop company. Edited December 7, 2014 by csamu (see edit history)
tuk66
As I know database structure and classes, I think, you are forced to use the permutations.
