SSL Not working for shared SSL

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am using shared SSL for my shops (Zen-Cart for over two years now)
Now i want to migrate a shop to Prestashop but cannot because i can't use the SSL as it is now in Prestashop.

My non SSL url is
http://www.shopname.tld
and my SSL url is
https://www.secureserver.tld/~username/shopname.tld

So i need a place to configure my SSL url.
I tried to edit class/Link.php and /Init.php but that does not work.

Please advice

Ronald.

This was bought up before. If you search the forum then I'm sure you will find it.

I know that it was mentioned in the forum but the proposed solutions do not work.
I have tried editing Init.php and class/Link.php and the result is rubbish.
CCS does not work. Links are going to the wrong URL and so on.

My appologies Ronald!

So very sorry to point you in the direction of an old thread. I did not read that thread to the end as it has no bearing on what I wish to achieve with my store.

If you don't want help or pointers then do not post on the forum. If you do want help then a polite "Thank you but it is not what I am looking for/does not work" will suffice!

Additionally if people (very talented people) cannot work out how to do this based on the information from the last thread what is duplicating it achieving?

Hallo, I have the same problem with the editing of link.php and init.php, it's a start but it's not enough. I believe there are people out there who have got shared ssl working. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance
Lucie
