mikerajjers Posted November 18, 2014 Share Posted November 18, 2014 Hi all, I've upgraded to prestashop 1.6 and have lost my home image slider and featured products - needless to say my webshop now looks very bad. I've googled and searched a solution but haven't managed to fix it. I came across a post suggesting to change 'images' to 'img', but I have either done it incorrectly or it's beyond my technical abilities. My site is hosted by Vidahost so I can change file names and things, but one post suggested changing the .tpl file - and I have no idea how. Another idea I had was to delete the two modules (home image slider and featured products), but could not find a .zip file of the module online in order to restore it afterwards - hence didn't want to risk losing it altogether). deepee Posted November 19, 2014 Share Posted November 19, 2014 (edited) Try resetting these modules. Go to "modules" and look for the ones you have issues with. You'll see a configuration button to the right. Click on the drop down list and you can select the option to "reset". You can also uninstall the module from there and re-install it. If you want to delete them you can also do that from there. To replace them, you can download the latest version of prestashop and copy the modules you need from the modules folder to your desktop and then zip them (individually).
