HillAirbrush
I'm in the process of setting up my first Prestashop. I'm on 1.6.0.9 , As a newbie I have been going through each tab of my back office configuring and learning as I go. The help files have been an invaluable asset to me as I learn and configure my Shop. This morning I signed into my back office as usual and my help files no longer show up. The page re sizes to allow room for them but its just a blank space. I have re-booted my computer three times and I tried accessing in both Mozilla and Chrome but still nothing. I can get them to show up in a seperate window if I right click on the help button but I have to do that every time I go to another topic. Any thoughts? HillAirbrush
Update: This morning my Help files are working again. Still wondering what may have caused this to happen. Any thoughts from the experts? Edited November 18, 2014 by HillAirbrush (see edit history)
vekia
help files are hosted on prestashop side, on prestashop.com hosting perhaps you had some problems with internet connection?
HillAirbrush
My connection was good as far as surfing the internet goes but I believe it may be possible that my Host, (Inmotion Hosting) was doing some scheduled maintenance on their servers around the time I was experiencing problems. They had sent a notification out but I had overlooked it. Now that I know that help files are hosted on prestashop.com, it makes sense that I had somehow just lost my connection through them to prestashop. Thank you very much for your help and for all that you do for the community.
