[Solved] Deleted subcategories... still alive! Grrrr

We create some categories tree. But now we want change it. And some categories we decide to remove. No product was inside - just empty categories and subcategories. So, some useless categories was delete and we start add some products. And the first product was add for category 'Marynarki'. But finaly on the front shop we see this product inside subcategory 'Casual' of 'Marynarki' which was before delete. Subcategory 'Casual' is not existing on list of categories, so I have no chance to do something with, right now. What is going one? Where are store this information and how can I clean this 'cache' or something. Is very stres to create every thing on 100% and than later it is unable to delete :/

No. First I create just categories and sub without products. so no association was there. E.g.:

 

Kolekcja (main)

- koszula (1st lev sub)

- marynarka (1st lev sub)

-- business (2nd lev sub)

-- casual (2nd lev sub)

-- sport (2nd lev sub)

- garnitur (1st lev sub)

 

Than I remove subcategories of 2nd lev sub:

-- business (2nd lev sub)

-- casual (2nd lev sub)

-- sport (2nd lev sub)

 

 

Than I add new fresh product directly to category of 1st lev sub:

- marynarka (1st lev sub)

And the product appear like will still in - marynarka/casual/

Even this subcategory apear in breadcrumps string: (home)/marynarka/casual/

Subcategory Casual is not exist anymore. And the product is bind directly to Marynarka categ.

I have the same problem, but with 'default' subcategory like on the pic "casual dresses"

No-one help me? I help my self...

Solved, but I'm not satisfied at all... I login to PHPMyAdmin and just delete, still existing there, an empty (all field was empty) a subcategory, with specify ID. And now, all on front shop, is ok. I hope. But I worry, why, subcategory was not delete to the end...

Maybe is this our solution but we don't have understand what you have delete exactly.

 

We only moved some categories under another one, we don't delete anything.
