garyjj127 Posted September 8, 2014 Share Posted September 8, 2014 This is a little complicated, so please bear with me! We use three carriers: DPD, Royal Mail and Hermes. We offer 2 delivery methods: Free standard delivery & Express. When a customer places their order, they are faced with the standard or express option and charged accordingly, and we choose the best carrier for the job (for example, if the item is very expensive, we will automatically send it via DPD, or if it's light but large, we'll send it by Hermes, as it's too big for Royal Mail. I'm aware that I can set the displayed carriers based on size/weight etc... but at the moment I don't have all the item weights and dimensions to hand (I have over 4000 products with variants). I would just like to be able to change the carrier before sending the tracking number to the customer, so they get the right tracking link. Is this possible? In the end, I did buy a module that can do this, as my knowledge of php is non existent.
