ankitgala Posted August 16, 2014 Share Posted August 16, 2014 i am using Prestashop 1.6.0.8 website - http://buzzpublishing.net/shop i have uninstalled many modules currently have only 44 installed and enabled modules. still the back end of prestashop is very very slow. It takes hell of a time to add products. The front end of the website is fine. Please give me any ideas or solutions about how to improve speed of back end. PrestaHeroes USA Posted August 16, 2014 Share Posted August 16, 2014 if after checking/fixing permission issues without improvement config/defines.inc.php set this to true define('_PS_DEBUG_PROFILING_', false); visit slow bo pages, note the profiling info at the bottom, copy it. here you can find where it's slowing down and possibly find solution (takes out most guessing) note: when 'true' all visitors fo/bo will see profiling, so set 'falses' when done.
