SparkyRih
So I bought a theme from the addons websit of Prestashop, it said it was compatible with Prestashop 1.6.0.8 (I'm currently running 1.6.0.6). When I install it, it does install, and does show on the front-end, but it's totally messed up, nothing is in the right place, the background color is wrong etc. I've manually emptied the cache, I've check some settings that should've been off according toe the documentation of the theme. But still it won't fix itself... Please help me :S
vekia
in most of cases you have to manually configure theme. disable unwanted modules (i bet that you see default addons), install and enable theme modules, and rearrange them in back office > modules > positions section order of these modules must correspond to theme modules order have you got some informations about manual theme installation ? JPresta.com
Did you ask the developper for help? There is a link on your theme's page in addons website to contact the developper.

I've disabled all modules when I choose the theme, but still it's messed up... Edit: And it's not that modules are in the wrong place, it's more as if it's using the wrong CSS style kind of messed up... vekia
its because installer probably enabled them with default configuration (default bootstarp pictures) and order under modules > positions
SparkyRih
Can I bulk disable/unhook all modules somewhere? Or should I go through all of them...
SparkyRih
Will the new theme configure itself properly if I reset to the default, than disable all front-office modules and re-enable the new theme again? Edit: Yes, that worked... now modules are just in the wrong place, but the theme is correctly displayed Thanks guys!
