steadc
I have changed the picture size of my Home default to a larger size - now the Featured Products does not display correctly. The text is part hidden under the picture and is narrower than the picture. As I add more featured products the pictures overlap. How can I amend the block to cater for the larger picture size? steadc
The shop URL is: http://amber-alessandra.co.uk/shop/ The price is also appearing in the middle of the picture which I assume is due to the resizing issue.
vekia
im affraid that there is not enough space to display more than 2 products per row this is what you expect? to display 2 products per row?
steadc
I do not mind how many in a row, the problem is the same with two or three in the row - the key thing was to have a larger image size. Now the image has been increased in size the format of the section is wrong as the text will get hidden under the picture, the text box width is not the same as the picture and the 'Price', 'View' and 'Add to Cart' is half over the picture. What I am trying to get to - based around the larger picture size is: The text box above the picture to be the same width. The text, if long, not to be hidden under the picture. The 'Price', 'View' and 'Add to Cart' to be under the picture.
vekia
you have to modify css styles in file: global.css line 885 there is a code like: #center_column .products_block ul li { float: left; background-color: #d0d3d8; margin-top: 0; padding: 0 0 1px; width: 133px; border-right: 1px solid white; border-bottom: 1px solid white; } increase width param, for example, use width equal to picture size (width) if you will change to 200px you will see that there is not enough space to dispaly 3 products per row and 2 is not enough to cover whole featured block. it looks wierd a little.
