stefanoste Posted July 1, 2014 Share Posted July 1, 2014 Hello to everyone , This is the scenario , I am trying to update my ps 1.5.4 to the newest one ps 1.6.0.8 but i guess must be something wrong because i am not able to succeed with different methods . The first one i tried to use is the most easiest and advised ( 1-CLICK UPGRADE MODULE ) is but every time I tried to install the update ( minor/major) I always have some error message coming out on file like ( CONTRIBUTING ,admin/ajax-tab and some other ) so I decide to witch to manual update following the official documentation here: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Manual+update , but when I try do update the the db with www.website.com/install/upgrade/upgrade.php as mentioned on the documentation I have this message : NOT FOUND The requested URL /install/upgrade/upgrade.php was not found on this server. So i check the BO and seems working except for Dashbaord with the error message Controller not found , so I search on the forum and I found this : http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/318517-solved-error-controller-not-found-on-bo-dashboard-when-logged-in-to-bo/ I check and all file seems to be uploaded on the server so I guess must be related to the db which has not been updated At this point I don't know much on how to update the script , some advice on one of the situation above would be appreciates THX Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
