live position problem

hello to all 

 

due to a module are forced, for now, to use the 1.5.x version of prestashop. 

 

but apart from this problem I can not change the position of the modules as they would like to have only the column on the left and not left and right. 

 

I tried with live position to clear the right column but after I saved nothing has changed ..

 

I mistaken or is it a bug?

Using PS 1.5.6.2

 

Not sure if I understand your question fully but:

 

It is better not to use "Live Position" but use module position in back office:

 

Back office > Modules > Positions

 

and either "Unhook" or "Transplant a module"

 

I have just transplanted the "Suppliers Module" to the right column and NOT unhooked it from the left column

hello

if you want to disable right column, i think, it will be much better if you will modify template file (footer.tpl) 

im affraid that in prestashop 1.5 removing module from that hook it's not enough to disable this column.
