gergos Posted June 10, 2014 Share Posted June 10, 2014 Hello. I installed prestashop 1.6. With only 100 products in many cases there where bugs of memory allocation or just blunk pages. I talk with my hosting provider and he told that allow 256 memory to all websites. I asked him to put the limits of the server 350 mb for testing. Everything work perfect after that but the problem is that 350mb is to much memory for an e-shop with so litle products and there is no provider that allows me to use more 256 in greece. He also told me that on the server there are heavy cms like magento and there is no problem with 256 ram. My question is: Prestashop 1.6 is so heavy? I already use 1.4.7 and there where no problem with memory. If it is not what i have to change in order to make my site lighter.
