price depending on date

Hi everybody,

I need to put an extra price to the shipping cost for a list of days, for example december the 25th, o january the 1st, or the mother's day. (we need to apply the rule if the user wants to ship his product on these days)

 

For example, I have a shipping cost of 5€, and in those days I want to add 3€ as an extra, so the final shipping cost will be of 8€. But only in certain days, and for every product and every category.

 

I saw different developer modifying cart rules with cronjob. 

 

Can somebody tell me if is this possible in my case? If yes, can somebody explain me how to do it?
