Product page doesn't work. Please, help...

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I really need help. I installed PrestaShop™ 1.5.6.0 and everything works fine but I when I click on a product to see the details, it open a white page.

I added some product (20-30) and everything worked okay. Then yesterday I added other 3 products and I can't open the single pages of the products anymore.

I had this problem before. I disactived and actived some products and everything worked okay again. I also thought that it could be a host problem (sometimes the site is very slow...)

I don't know if it can help but in the main page of the BO I have these two red messages
(I had them before the product page problem happened, so I don't know if this information is relevant)

 URL comprensibili
 Cache & compressione browser

Please, help me....I don't know what to do.

Sorry for my English. If I wasn't clear enough, let me know and I'll try to explain better.

Alice

Thanks. Here's the error

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 29360128 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /var/www/virtual/lacimpinessa.com/htdocs/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatelexer.php on line 460

29360128 byets is only 28mb

prestashop to run smoothle needs at least 64mb (at least!)

increase your memory limit, otherwise your shop will not work, not only on product pages but also in other part of website.

Thanks, vekia.

Sorry if I ask for more informations, but I want to be sure that I understood.

When you say "increase your memory limit" you are talking about the host? Should I contact my host?
If I understood wrong, please, can you tell me what you mean?
Thanks a lot as usual.

hello

sorry for long waiting time to reply,

i missed your messages, this is why it's worth to quote my post (i will see notification)

you can increase memory limit with modification of php.ini file configuration

if you've got an access to this file - you can do it by yourself

if not - you have to ask your hoster about that

if you're on shared host you probably haven't got access to modify this param value, so in my opinion it's better to ask your hoster about that. In fact, all of this depends on them!
