This happens to me sometimes just after changing the URL for Shop domain or SSL. Regardless, you should also clean your browser cache, in IE make sure you check clean info for web sites listed as favorite. Or better yet, try a new browser that doesn't have cached files.

Yeah, it may be a server setting that is sending a cache header. If you see this same behaviour from 2 different browsers it could be the host. If you only see it from one browser it may be a browser setting. Regardless I'm glad you have a workaround.
